The RevivalDrive provides options to dial in your tone such that you can just plug into the loop return of your amp to bypass its preamp. I haven’t played with this much as I like the sound I get through my tube preamp, but the option is there.

Overall Impression

Origin Effects pedals are pricey but some of the highest quality pedals I’ve ever heard. I own the RevivalDrive and the SlideRig Compact Deluxe (I review the SlideRig separately), and they are both permanent fixtures on my pedal-board. ‘Nuff said!
